1. Privacy of Iconogram Information.
We treat all of our Iconograms as private correspondence between the sender and the recipient and will not disclose the contents of any greetings other than to the intended recipient. The recipient's e-mail address is used solely for the purpose of sending the Iconogram, and keeping a record on the sender's History page for registered users. The Iconogram is posted on private pages. The web address is sent by e-mail announcement only to those whose e-mail addresses are entered by the card sender.
2. Personal Data.
We retain your name, e-mail address, and password information when you register at ICONOGRAMS.org for the sole purpose of maintaining your account profile and allowing you to access features that require this information, such as our Address Book and History feature. Under no circumstances will we use this information for any other purpose, unless we obtain your explicit permission.
3. Confidentiality.
No information of ANY kind is ever shared with third parties unless we obtain your explicit permission.
4. Aggregate Data.
We gather certain generic information with respect to visitors' use of our web site such as the number of unique visitors and the areas on the web site that they favor. We only look at this data on a collective basis, in summary form.
5. IP Addresses.
We collect and analyze traffic on our web site by keeping track of the IP addresses of our visitors. An IP address is a unique number assigned to your computer when you are browsing the Internet. We log this information so that we can monitor overall traffic trends as well as the number of visitors visiting the web site. This information is used to improve the quality of our web site. We reserve the right to block any IP addresses of users who we determine to be abusing the web site.
6. Cookies.
Cookies are pieces of information sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Our web site analysis tool employs the use of cookies within our site. By tracking the session ID contained in the cookie, the software can calculate various aggregate statistical data. We also use cookies to obtain and keep track of login and account information for people who register with ICONOGRAMS.org. We do not store any information in our cookies other than a session number, and cookies from our web site are deleted once a session expires, after 30 minutes of idle time.

9. Unsolicited E-Mail.
We do not send unsolicited e-mail messages to anyone. We generally send e-mail only if one of our visitors has signed up to receive event reminders using the Address Book feature, and notify them. We may occasionally send e-mails when we make updates or changes to ICONOGRAMS.org, with information solely applicable to this web site.
10. Material Changes.
If we make any material changes in our privacy practices, we will post a notice on our web site notifying users of the change.
